After half a dozen portrait studies the last few weeks, I finally got a sketch I was pleased with in my 80 minute's worth of "face time". Nearing the end of a 45 page portrait book, I think about how limited I used to feel with such a short time to work. Now, a year or more later, I am beginning to believe that I can make something worthy in my minimal allowance.
